Hangsun Water Flosser – Product Review

For a while, I have heard about water flossers, and I get asked frequently by my patients about this product. I took a step to buy one and test it out, and to see for myself how effective it is.

I have found this specific product to deliver good quality cleaning in terms of what it is designed to do. Of course, it isn’t an alternative to interdental cleaning with brushes or floss; but it certainly does help.

I have been using this product as part of my oral hygiene protocol; and it does add a lot more to the cleanliness of my mouth; and I feel that it dislodges food and plaque, and massages the gums at the same time.

The product itself has three settings: normal, soft and pulse to suit your specific need. I wouldn’t recommend starting with normal, until you are more accustomed to using the water flosser. My preference is the pulse, as that throbbing action allows for more of a push against the plaque and food debris.
